During the 1990's, he was a 3 year starter for Yorktown High School where he won 3 state Championships from 1991-1993. He was a Gold Medal Winner for the Empire State Games in Men's Lacrosse in 1992. In 2001 he accepted his first Head Coaching job for Ridgefield High School. Ridgefield would go on to win it's first and only State Championship in his first year.
